So I'm sick. Again. That's only what, three times this semester? Heh. Sore throat again.. should have had these stupid tonsils taken out when I was little and saved myself all this grief. I'm pretty sure this round is just allergies, but we'll see how fast it clears up.

In other news.. juries are over! Hooray! I just had a repetoire jury, and I think it went really well. It was my last jury ever! :/ err, I mean.. :D  haha..  Yea, definitely won't miss that so much. Tho I do still have a hearing in February to get through, so I'm not totally home free yet.. but the light grows brighter!

All of my major projects and papers are in. Just three finals to take, and this semester will finally be over. None too soon, either. It has really been a rough semester in so many ways. It's weird too, cause soo many other people have been expressing the same feelings. People who are normally really great students have just kinda been worn out and pushing just to get by. And it hasn't even just been school. Everyone has just seemed stressed in general, with roommate or people issues, etc. Hopefully this break will be relaxing for everyone and we can come back and have a great spring semester!

Weellll, I guess I should get in bed. Y'all have a good weekend! The end is near! :)

Piano jury sheets went up today. Still completely unstressed about that, even though I'm not solid on the two shorter pieces. It's just kinda weird to be so calm about it, lol.

The various Chambers concerts Sunday and Monday went pretty well. I really enjoyed singing at Christ Church on Sunday night. The acoustics were incredible. I'm looking forward to singing there again in the spring... The Faculty Dinner and the Tree Lighting both went pretty well too, even though it was freaking cold at the Tree Lighting and I didn't have a coat.. but.. oh well.. I think I managed to make it without getting sick, though that still remains to be seen.. I don't have time to be sick!

I finally found a coat! Now I just need to find my gloves, and things will be good. My hands were so cold today, I couldn't practice piano. So I just looked over my music during my break between NT and choir. I've found that to be somewhat productive, so I didn't feel too bad.

I will be so glad to get Messiah over with. I think it's going to go really well.. I'm just getting a little tired of the music. Then I can focus on orchestra stuff for Park Cities. We've got a busy couple of weeks ahead. We play in the services on the 5th and 19th, plus the big Christmas concert is on the 12th.

This is the last full week of classes. Have I mentioned how glad I am that the semester is over? lol.. It's definitely been a stressful couple of weeks. Not all bad stress, but stress all the same. Actually, I'm pretty sure I haven't been very pulled together most of the semester.. I've definitely been a lot more disorganized and scattered than I usually am. Hopefully I'll be better after a nice holiday break. Hope everyone else is holding together alright.. we're almost done!

It's amazing what a little sleep can do for you! I've gotten at least 9 hours of sleep for the past four nights, and I feel wonderful. My head is clear, I'm in a great mood.. I should try this "sleep" thing a little more often! ;) Well, I should get all beautified and head up to Plano for the Chambers concert. It's going to be great!

So.. today is Thanksgiving! We get to eat lots of yummy food, watch the Cowboys win play football, and spend time with family and friends. That's a pretty good day right there! And it means a long weekend, which is good, and it means we pull out the Christmas tree tomorrow! Yay :) Well, I should get started on my pies and cookies! I love being in charge of desserts.. they turn out pretty dang good, if I do say so myself! ;)

**edit: I spoke too soon! The Cowboys actually pulled off a decent win today! 21-7 over the Bears. We'll take that! How about we make this the start of a nice winning streak? ;) **

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Blessings!

Sooo.. yea, I'm in the Spence lab working on my paper. Yes, still :P I have six full pages now, and the next four have all of my quotes, I just need to fill them in. So I figure I'll wrap it up in time to print and eat lunch before choir. And then maybe I can take a nap before piano, lol.. I'm running on about 7.5 hours of sleeps total for the past two nights.. anywho! Back to writing.. bye! ;D
